Once we have installed your solar PV panel system, we will complete all the necessary steps to set up and activate the warranties relevant to your system, so you don’t have to worry about anything when working with us.

However, we understand that you will have invested a lot of money into this system and will want to know that you will be covered in the unlikely event that something goes wrong.

Our work comes with a workmanship warranty, covering your system for two years.

We also provide performance warranties for all of our installations, meaning you can rest assured that your systems will continue performing at optimal levels.

All solar panels have a 25-year linear performance warranty, so you can feel confident that your system will perform for a long time. And should there be an issue, you won’t have to fork out for a solution.

Sometimes, products stop working, and while we will do everything in our power to prevent this, things out of our control mean we can’t always avoid it.

This is why we also provide product warranties on each component in your solar panel system.

The warranties for the equipment installed at your property can vary as follows:

• Sunsynk Batteries and Inverters: 10-year warranty
• Solax/Solis Inverter: 5-year warranty

At the appropriate time, the team at ProStar Energy will complete the necessary steps to put the required warranties in place and activate them.

Part of this will include the team pre-registering every component upon system commissioning.

We will do everything for you to get each warranty covering your system before we leave your site for the final time.

In our handover, we will pass over the relevant paperwork and certificates, which you can keep and refer to should you need to. We will also give a verbal overview of each warranty, so you know which one refers to which element and what is covered.
