Glad we had ProStar Energy to fit solar panels with a backup battery to an annexe in our garden. All the workers were polite and we hardly knew they were there! The array is already working well with any excess from the annexe going back to the main house, which is a win for everyone! Poole Yacht Club faces south and there is plenty of flat roof space with no shading. With significant electricity bills, it was an ideal candidate for a solar panel installation. The installation was complex with panels installed on three different roofs, three inverters and a battery, but with their technical expertise and Solax providing the hardware, the installation was completed successfully. Dawlish Indoor Bowls Club purchased a 17kW solar panel system from Prostar in March 25.
Being a bowls club we have an unusual energy usage. We have max electricity demand in the winter and no demand in the summer. Any supplier needed to take this into account when calculating our savings.
Prostar were the only supplier to do this, giving us cost savings based on our specific usage. With accurate information we could obtain funds from the membership.
The system went live in March and is delivering the expected returns.

We were pleased to work with ProStar Energy to assist with the installation of solar panels. On contact they were very efficient in discussing options, giving advice and preparing a clear proposal. During installation there were some issues with communication and some unfortunate damage but they responded quickly, addressed the issues, made good and installed the systems as expected and agreed. Follow up support has been helpful with connecting to the grid. Overall we have been pleased to work with ProStar Energy in achieving the request from our students to install panels.

Our house faces south, and having installed an air source heat pump, and electricity prices rising, the next obvious investment were solar panels. We obtained numerous quotes but were let down on the installation because we wanted in-roof panels. The ProStar Technical Director assured us he could install within two weeks of receiving the order, so we went ahead with him for 14 panels, an inverter and two batteries.

The installation went smoothly, and has proved to be a highly successful investment, with virtually no imported power between April and October, and the exported power providing a buffer for the winter electricity costs.
