Available on both IOS and Android systems, this app is a great way to assess your solar system's performance remotely - any time, from anywhere. By keeping an eye on the performance, you’ll be able to immediately spot and sort out dips in efficiency and potential problems.

Once we’ve installed your solar panels and energy storage systems, we’ll give you login details for the app.

In the app, you will be able to monitor the input and output of your solar panels through the easy-to-use flow diagram on the homepage. This graphic shows the input, output, and consumption via your inverter by the four core icons.

1. The solar panel icon at the top shows us how much power is being generated by the solar panels in real-time.
2. The home icon in the centre indicates how much energy your home is being consumed.
3. The battery icon shows how much energy is being stored and shows if the battery is charging or discharging at that moment.
4. The grid icon demonstrates how much energy you import and export from the National grid.

Each of these icons has numbers underneath them, showing kilowatt input and output of your household. These can be used to monitor the performance of your solution.

You can drill down further into each element of your system by clicking on each of the icons. When doing this, you will be able to see the breakdown of where the energy is being imported and exported to.

The bottom of the screen allows for further navigation around the app, taking you back to the homepage and between the power graph, the energy graph and the battery graph page. Each of these graphs will show intricate data for each part of the system.

The Growatt App features an easy-to-use flow diagram on the homepage, providing a visual representation of your solar energy system. This diagram includes four core icons that display essential data:

1. Solar Panel Icon: Shows real-time power generation from your solar panels.

3. Battery Icon: Displays the energy stored in your battery and whether it is charging or discharging.

The homepage is the central hub for all the data available on the app. At first glance, this hub shows the input, output and consumption through your battery.

1. The centre icon is the overall importing power icon that shows the battery charge.
2. The purple home icon shows how much power your home is consuming.
3. The grid icon shows whether your system is importing or exporting energy via the grid.
4. The solar panel icon shows how much energy your PV system is producing.
5. The shower icon indicates how much energy your Eddi system is using.
6. The electric car icon shows how much power your Zappy is using.

Clicking on each icon will take you through to a page with more detail and specific information about that element of the system. On relevant pages, you’ll be able to drill down into hourly, daily and weekly data, giving you a rounded overview of the performance of your system.

Selecting one of the Eddi systems, you can view how much energy it has used today. This page also allows you to control the power flow to and from the system. Additionally, you can prioritise heating top or bottom water.

The Zappy page offers a similar function, providing data and the ability to control performance in one place.

The central, overall section from the homepage allows you to see how much energy is being produced versus consumed throughout your systems. The page allows you to analyse the overall performance daily, weekly and monthly so you can spot patterns in performance, allowing you to identify possible drops in efficiency and problems.
